  • Phoebe Gloeckner’s graphic novel The Diary of a Teenage Girl has been adapted into an off-Broadway play. Buy your tickets now: the official opening was March 28. And check out the lobby for an exhibit of original art from the book.
  • In conjunction with the Museum of the City of New York’s exhibit Charles Addam’s New York, there will be a panel on Thursday, April 15, at 6:00pm. The panel is called “Curious about Cartooning,” and will include a screening of Lyda Ely’s “Funny Business,” which features some of The New Yorker’s most celebrated cartoonists.
  • WonderCon is coming up. It’s April 2-4 at Moscone Center South in San Francisco.

  • Penny Arcade’s Gabe and Tycho will be in New York this Tuesday, March 30, signing at Kinokuniya on from 5:30-6:30pm. And on Wednesday, March 31, they will be at the Mad Art Gallery in St. Louis, for a big event called The Splendid Magic of Penny Arcade, which goes from 7:00-10:00pm.
  • Jules Feiffer will read selections from his new memoir Backing Into Forward on April 6 from 7:00–8:00pm at the Strand Book Store in New York.
