- All Kinds of Bees is a new Webcomic that presents stark stories of survivors of domestic abuse, in their own words, written from inside the New York City court system.
- Thursday, October 29, at 7:00 PM, members of ACT-I-VATE will be at Book Court, speaking about their contributions to the recently published ACT-I-VATE Primer collection.
- Chris “Elio” Eliopoulos, Chicago-based comics artist, is having a comic art sale: only 10 bucks a drawing!
- Will Dinski recently won the 2009 Isotope Award for Excellence in Mini-Comics for his Covered in Confusion.
- Here’s a video of Dash Shaw at this year’s APE, doing custom paint jobs to covers of his new book, The Unclothed Man in the 35th Century A.D.
- R. Sikoryak was on Inkstuds recently to talk about his new Masterpiece Comics book.
- Thomas Herpich and Pendleton Ward recently went out drinking and jammed out some 24-hour comics on some bar napkins. Thomas has scanned his and released them to the internet.
- Lucy Knisley, John Campbell, and Spike will be at Third Coast Comics in Chicago for a pre-Halloween comics party and signing on Friday, October 30th, starting at 5:00 PM.
