• It’s pay day! So why not spend your money on adorable things on Etsy, like Souther Salazar’s mini store where you can buy all manners of lovely sculptures and artwork.
• Not necessarily comic book related, but it seems like everyone and their mother is reporting on the strange creature in Panama. The creature crawled out of a cave only to be beaten to death my children. It certainly sounds like something out of fantasy… or 4chan.
• Ohio State University has recently renamed its cartoon library the “Billy Ireland Cartoon Library” after the school received a $7 million donation from the Elizabeth Ireland Graves Foundation. Cartoonist Billy Ireland worked for The Columbus Dispatch.
• Former Mystery Science Theater 3000 star, Mary Jo Pehl, is writing a comic book parody about an all-female squad who are out to protect children from sexual predators. The four-issue comic is titled Jailbait and will debut in 2010.
