[Above, Renee French wrenches at our heartstrings. Below, the very sensitive Dispatch.]

  • Artist Renee French has a flare for capturing quirky cuteness in her black and white sketches and illustrations – and I’m kind of obsessed.
  • David Lloyd (V for Vendetta, Kickback) has a special signing appearance on Saturday, August 1 at Amazing Fantasy Books & Comics in IL.
  • WordPress & its users is doing their best to accommodate wecomics creators – now there’s a new plug-in for the cause, which Brad Guigar covers on
  • Josh Neufeld  (AD: After the Deluge) and Christopher Irving are two of our favorites – put them together in interview form, and the delight is unstoppable.
  • The ACT-I-VATE Primer has finally been announced and is in the Previews Catalog today.
  • Totally mainstreamish but whatever, you’ll laugh your butt off: GREAT cartoon about Obama, Gates and Crowley getting a beer.
