Guest Strip: L. Nichols

Categories:  Guest Strip

lnicholstzL. Nichols likes to make things.  Lots of things.

She even has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, which means, I think, that trained robots fold and staple her minis.

It seems she’s rather obsessed with making comics, actually. Just can’t help herself. On her website she posts new comics and drawings every single day of the week, even on weekends. She also self-publishes mini-comics on a semi-quarterly basis.

Her style isn’t fixed to one point, and she’s always jumping around and experimenting.  Her comics are long and short, grayscale and color, painted and drawn, and sometimes purely digital. They’re about personal things and fictional things and sometimes the fuzzy line between the two. Over time, she hopes that it all adds up to a somewhat larger whole.

Her latest comic Jumbly Junkery #7 will debut this weekend at MoCCA.

That’s intense. You know it’s serious when it breaks down mathematically!
