  • Kevin Church and Benjamin Birdie will debut the first print collection of  the comic shop-based webcomic, The Rack, at the upcoming MoCCA extravanganza in June.
  • Courtesy of Comics Worth Reading, NPR has posted their summer reading list and *gasp* included some great indie
  • Literary-arts mag GIGANTIC Sequins is looking for cover art for their next issue, deadline June 30.
  • Valerie D’Orazio has a new column at Comixology called COMICS-OP, and the first edition is up now.
  • Publishers Weekly’s Calvin Reid and Heidi MacDonald discuss the presence of comics and graphic novels at this weekend’s BookExpo America  – which I will be attending, thankyouverymuch.
  • In other BookExpo America news, the CBLDF is kicking off the convention with its own welcome shindig at Hudson Terrace in NYC tomorrow, May 28.
  • On May 30 in Bellingham, MA, Scott Wegener (Atomic Robo) will be signing at Friendly Neighborhood Comics.

    I’m so glad they are having the welcome party at Hudson Terrace. It’s gonna be great! I attended another event there a few weeks back and the place will be beautiful overlooking the Hudson.
