  • Comics writer, blogger and Friends of Lulu president, Valerie D’Orazio, has finally put her life under virtual hardcovers with Memoirs of an Occasional Superheroine, available as an eBook.
  • Secret Identity: The Fetish Art of Superman author, Craig Yoe, is the guest of honor at this coming Tuesday’s “The Comic Book Club” at the People’s Improv Theater in NYC.
  • Heidi MacDonald shares all sides of the Eisner Awards and their apparent manga overlooks on The Beat. Noah Berlatsky, “Manga doesn’t need the Eisners.”
  • Christopher Irving and Seth Kushner are at it again, this time with Graphic NYC short video “On the Fringe with Paul Pope.”
  • Jeffrey Brown has released a new book, Funny Misshapen Body. He shares some of the early, equally brilliant cover art sketches on his blog.
  • The Bristol International Comic Expo in the UK, which hosts a plethora of both Brit and other special guests including Gary Erskine, Andy Diggle and Dave Gibbons, has sold out a month ahead of schedule, but offers a reserve list for those still determined to attend.
  • Inbound #3, a Boston Comics Anthology, was recently released with this issue’s theme, love and relationships, just in time for the romantic air of spring.
  • Indie comics creator, Nate Doyle (Crooked Teeth, I Saw You…), has updated his blog with his new sketches of ordinary life.
  • Chris Onstad will be signing copies of The Great Outdoor Fight and selling ultra-rare items from his private collection at Things From Another World on April 15th in Portland, OR.
