  • Smith Magazine posted the eighth installment of their Next-Door Neighbor series featuring Harvey Pekar and Rick Veitch’s The Next-Door Neighbor I Don’t Know.
  • Zombies Calling creator Faith Erin Hicks will be at San Diego Comic Con.  Hicks will be on hand promoting her new book from Slave Labor, The War at Ellsmere.
  • Paul Pope’s Masked Karimbah in toy form.  The figure will be available, although very limitedly, at SDCC on July 26th, but is apparently the size of an actual Boston Terrier dog. How cute.
  • Steve Niles and illustrators of The Lost Ones will be in New York at Midtown Comics on July 17th for a rare signing opportunity. Joining Niles will be Gary Panter, DR. REVOLT, Kime Buzzelli, and Morning Breath. The event takes place at the Times Square store from 4-6pm.
  • CBLDF is hiring for a Deputy Director.
  • The Xeric Award winners have been posted.
  • Jason Shiga returns the Oakland Library at 125 14th Street for some live book hunting on July 17th, from 6-8 PM.
