[Above, remnants of Ultra-Lad. Below, the Dispatch dregs.]

  • Comics build bridges. The project is a tool to help build cultural bridges of friendship and understanding between the children of New Hampshire and Nicaragua. Stories like this just warm my comic-heart.
  • Act-I-Vate welcomes Ultra-Lad.
  • July 11th at Desert Island welcomes Gabriel Bell for a book launch and signing. It’s a Friday night, so no using “I have work the next day” as an excuse…unless you actually have work the next day, then it’s okay, I guess…
  • And then in August, Desert Island will host the book release party for Where Demented Wented: The Art and Comics of Rory Hayes. There will be a panel discussion, Q&A with special guests, and even a free gift. You don’t want to miss this one either.
  • Sparkplug Comic Books has published a slew of new books available on their site.
  • Salgood Sam has posted a trailer for Therefore Repent.
