[Ivan Brunetti, Onsmith, Zak Sally and John Hankiewicz looking typically, sheepishly, cartoonist-like for the Gallery Talk at MCAD on Friday, April 4.]

• Onsmith, shown above (doing the robot?), has curated a fine cartooning show called “Off-Kilter Comics.” It can be seen in the MCAD gallery from April 4-20th. There, you can check out the brilliant work of Onsmith himself, as well as Zak Sally ( La Mano), Lilli Carré, John Hankiewicz, Dan Zettwoch and Ivan Brunetti. I tried to get some quotes, but I overheard the gallery manager complaining about my tape recorder, so I politely turned it off. In essence, the making of comics seems to be a love/hate relationship for those involved in the gallery talk.
• Great news for some of our favorites! To Rina Ayuyang, Liz Baillie, Jon Chadurjian, Sarah Glidden, Alex Holden and David King, we hope you all get some Kukoc.
