I wonder if indie-comic creators are ever envious of their mainstream genre colleagues.  I mean, Chris Ware will probably never get to write a story where Jimmy Corrigan makes a deal with the devil so he was never born, right? Ah, but to dream… The best comics review you will ever read.  Ever.

• More NY Times comix in the classroom coverage. Will people PLEASE make up their minds!?
• The folks behind Gawker  just launched a brand new Sci Fi blog called i09.  I think it’s kind of neat, but Warren Ellis doesn’t.
• SPX and Stumptown dates! Don’t even bother making any other plans.
• Meathaus wunderkind Dash Shaw started a new webcomic this week.  It’s equal parts strange and funny, and totally worth your time.
