- Why does the world hate cartoonists? The Burmese military regime has banned the work of 19 cartoonists and writers and many are still in hiding after taking part in a September uprising.
- 2000AD goes digital. On December 19th, the long-running sci-fi book will be available weekly in both print and online versions. The online version will be available one week after the book hits UK shelves, but the download is quick, easy and iPod friendly.
- Paul Pope gives some insight into the changing face of comics, which, he says are no longer bound to the periodical format.
- The Comic Book Club is holding its one year anniversary show, Tuesday, December 18th with special guests, Brian Bendis, Ed Brubaker, Matt Fraction, Bill Hader, and Kimmy Gatewood. The show is sold out, but for those willing, a limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $5.
- India teaches the importance of banking, through comics. Apparently, India wants to teach its population, especially young children and adolescents, the ins and outs of banking and bank management.
- Ivan Brandon goes South American.
