Missed Connections: A Plea From Julia Wertz

To make a long story short, I now live in Brooklyn, NY, where I’m hard at work assembling this beast of an anthology. I’m still seeking submissions, so I’m asking you, fellow cartoonists, to draw me a comic ranging anywhere from one to six pages, by Dec. 1st. If can be from a real missed connection ad, or your own personal story about one.
All the details (like the copyright bullshit, demensions, etc…) are available here.
Be as creative with it as you want, there are some examples on the Flickr link on the blog as well.
I know the deadline is soon, but in case you haven’t figured it out, I have no idea what I’m doing but this is a great opportunity to get your work into a book that will be released nationwide by motherfucking Random House, so git on it, bitches!

So can we make up an ad or do these have to be real ads?

But there are so many good ones on there already. Honestly, you don’t need to make this shit up.

Also, I’m putting together a “Casual Encounters” book, if anyone wants in.
