Ah, it’s tour season, so don’t get caught staying home…

If you’re somewhere in or near Perth Amboy, New Jersey, there’s a comics exhibit to visit called The Fantastic Form: The Art of Comics and Graphic Novels (June 14-July 31).

Joe Matt is on tour beginning today, at Skylight Books in Los Angeles (can’t seem to find a direct link).

New York Times’ Magazine’s culture vultures landed this week with some tasty morsels from Paul Hornschemeier‘s latest book, The Three Paradoxes.

Latest Bookslut issue and reading: Live! Orgy! Comics! The June 27 reading features Paul Hornschemeier, Nick Bertozzi and writer Austin Grossman.

Another link about Paul Hornschemeier, who’s everywhere these days, and this time it’s details about his tour courtesy of The Beat. West coast people, check out dates for the rest of the tour on Hornschemeier’s blog.

Care to chime in on Chris Arrant‘s and Kieron Gillen‘s discussion on creating a visual vocab for conveying music in comics? I would suggest just printing playable musical notations along the sides of the panels, but I probably think that because I’m a blockhead.

Metro Philadelphia has an interview with Kevin Colden about his ACT-I-VATE serial Fishtown, an engrossing comic inspired by the true story of teenagers who murdered a friend for drug money.

If you missed out on the last Kochalka small painting sale, here’s your chance to buy some.

I can haz tongue in cheek?
