Still Looking for Writers.

Categories:  News

Yep, some things never change. But man, we figured that by this point in our illustrious blogging careers, we’d be lousy with them, shooing them away at the front door and awkwardly avoiding eye contact, when we ran into them in various social situations.

But alas, it seems that this is not the case. Good writers are tough to come by. Good writers who have interesting things to say about comic books, even tougher. Think you’ve got what it takes to join our radical dork squad of free-comic-book-getting (yep, that’s pretty the one and only perk of this thankless job) bloggers? Here are the sorts of things we’re looking for:

Story pitches. Listen, there are a ton of blogs out there that do the industry news thing far better we could ever pretend to. The Beat, Newsarama, Journalista, and The Comics Reporter all come to mind. Come kick some creative-sense into our musty two-month old asses.
Voice/humor. Again, the AP does the AP better than we could ever begin to AP.
Interview technique. Did we mention that you get to talk to awesome people at this gig? There’s a whole universe of questions beyond, so what are your influences?
Free-time. The thing we lack more than anything else. This blogging world moves at a breakneck pace. Please be able to do at least three posts a week.

If all of these able to you, please send a brief bio, three writing samples, two pitches, and a list of your all-time favorite indie titles to dailycrosshatch@gmail.com. Yes, we also accept submissions in the form of sweet, sweet candy.
