It does, however, make it sound like I tried to usurp the 24 hour comics challenge or to cast illegitimacy on 24 hour comics created on other days, and that simply is not the case. 24 Hour Comics Day is a great day for taking the 24 hour comics challenge, but it&#039;s a good challenge to take whenever you can. While there are certain things that are enticing about 24 Hour Comics Day (such as the organized event sites and the camaraderie - last year, we had well over a thousand participants), the biggest advantage is that it&#039;s a specific kick in the butt. For people who always meant to take the 24 hour comics challenge &quot;some day&quot; (and I suspect we all have &quot;some day&quot; things we never get around to), this puts a definite date on it. But the people who are making 24 hour comics on other days? More power to &#039;em!</description>
