You totally be our Myspace friend because: It’s good for your music/comics-karma.
What are you reading [comic-wise, naturally]? Jakub: I just purchased Mnemovore by the incredibly gifted, Ray Fawkes. I’ve also recently become a big fan of Bryan O’Malley’s, Scott Pilgrim and anything by Paul Pope.
Zapotoczny: The Other Side featuring the brilliant art of Cameron Stewart. I’m also an avid reader of the amazing web-comics, Ojingogo by Matthew Forsythe and Butternut Squash by Ramon Perez.
The comic shop that always makes me late for sound check:
We’re never late for sound check–but we like to buy our comics at The Beguiling in Toronto.
This time next year, I hope to be working on the soundtrack to major motion picture adaptation of which comic: We won’t have time for films–we’ll be recording the soundtrack for an as-yet-unannounced graphic novel, an extremely original ghost story by a very talented and popular comic creator.
